I spent nine days with Shalene and her family. Alonna and Kaylee and Brookie came for a visit too! We had such a good time. I got to meet Myla and what a sweetie! My little princesses and sweet Kade. That's a lot of girls to put up with! He looked forward to dad coming home and saving him each evening.

Me and my sweetie. Bob had chest pains so we hurried him to the emergency room where they discovered he had an artery 99% blocked and another 70% blocked. They put in three stints and when he woke up the first things he said was, 'that feels way better'! He went home three days later and has put himself on a 1200 calories a day diet. He has lost 28 lbs in 3 weeks! Go Bob!

Myla makes eight (grandchildren)! She came February 12th and isn't she beautiful?! Her middle name comes from her great, great, great grandmother from Switzerland on Bob's side of the family. I will be going to Seattle soon and hopefully Callie and Kade will share her with me. I hear they are a pretty tight threesome! Welcome to the family, Myla!

Check out these pictures...we even got caught in a hail storm at the top and had to run down so we wouldn't end up in the news as the two dead dummies dying from hypothermia!

Family reunion Fort Buenaventura

Our family reunion with my brother, Glenn and his family, was held in Ogden at Fort Buenaventura. We had a total of 26 show up. Other than being in the threats of the 'Twentyfourth Street Gang' in Ogden, we had a great time...plenty of shade, floating the Weber River, fishing, kayaking and a good time visiting with family.

Celebrating 30 years!

Celebrating our 30th anniversary in Quray, CO...what a fun time we had. We stayed in Hotel Quray...one of the original victorian hotels. We had a lot of fun on our rented four wheeler and even did some digging at an old gold mine. Bob is sure he struck gold....all .02 cents of it! The mountains were beautiful and we had waterfalls everywhere we went. This is where I come to ice climb in February with Chris and Shaunae...what a beautiful difference compared to the ice and snow in the winter. Bob and I drove to Black Canyon and were amazed at the scenery. We drove down to the Gunnison River at the bottom of the canyon. If you get the chance to visit, be sure to enjoy a meal at the 'The Outlaw' ....great food.

Vacation fun in Washington!

We just spent a week visiting Shalene, Tyler, Callie and Kade in Puyallup, WA. The top picture was a day at the beach....Linda, Tia. Tanner, Callie, Kade and Shalene. It was sunny and warm which is a real plus at the coast. The second picture was our fun outing to 'Grove of the Patriarchs' an island of trees over 1,000 years old....this one fell down and made for a great backdrop for this picture of Tia and Callie.
We spent two days in Port Angeles at the coast and played in the tide pools while it was low tide. Callie is holding one of our treasures.

Hiking Silver Lake

It's that time of year again.....hiking! And who better to hike with than my best friend Michele Askeroth! It's only a 4 mile hike, but we took about 7 hours to do it....the flowers were fabulous! It was like walking in a park. This hike is in the American Fork Canyon, above Tibble Fork and then 2 miles above Silver Lake Flat. Thank you Michele for sharing the best day of the summer with me!
